Would you like to make your own wooden reindeer? Perfect for any Christmas display.

Paula from Greenwood Twiggs will be taking you through the process of crafting your own reindeer from scratch using a bow saw, bit & brace and whittling knife. Suitable for beginners, each stage will be fully demonstrated and you will be shown how to use each tool safely. You will go home with your own, unique, wooden Rudolph – just in time for Christmas!

The reindeer is approx 12 inches high and 8 inches long and is made from wood sourced from a local woodland, using traditional woodworking methods with hand tools. This course is a great introduction into greenwood working and gives you basic skills and knowledge for your own future woodwork.

This workshop is aimed at adults, although children from 12 upwards can come if accompanied.

£35 per person, including all materials and refreshments (hot drinks and cake).
