Wood-turning in the Woods

NB – there is one space left on 21st July and one space on the 28th July.  Please let us know which session you will be attending when you book.

This is a relaxed, informal workshop for up to 6 people to have a go at wood-turning in our outdoor workshop. No experience is necessary and all tools, materials and safety equipment are provided. The course is led by Peter Roworth, who has been leading wood-turning sessions with our Men’s group over the past year.

The wood-turning workshops will run every Thursday afternoon from 1 to 3pm on the 14th, 21st and 28th July.

You can either book the block of 3 weeks for £36 or book onto a one-off session for £15. If you book the block you will be able to develop your skills and build up to creating more complex items. We will be creating simple beginner wood-turning projects such as an egg cup, vase, coaster or stool. If you already have some experience Peter will discuss with you would you would like to make.

We will stop for a break about half way through to have a brew and a slice of cake.

NB – if you do book a one-off session we will assume it is for the coming week. Please message us if you are booking for a different date.
