Summer holiday club aimed at unaccompanied 7 – 9 year olds who like being outside! We provide drinks and snacks but you will need to bring a packed lunch. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather (wellies or walking boots plus long sleeves and waterproof clothes would probably be a good idea!). The days are almost always off site (exploring the woods and the moors around Brinscall and involve lots of walking and exploring) so your child will need to be able to manage their own toileting (be able to have a ‘wild wee’ independently). We do bring hand washing water and hand gel.

In 2025 we are running holiday clubs on the 8th & 9th April, the 29th & 30th July and the 26 & 27th August.  We are not offering the John Muir award this year (apart from to the older cohort of children who already started with us last year) but we are doing our own version of this environmental award scheme which involves discovering, exploring, conserving and finally sharing a wild space. Parents & friends will be invited to the final afternoon of the last day to be shown around the wild space we have chosen and celebrate the children’s achievements.

To book a four day block it’s £96 per child. Two day blocks are £48. To get a certificate children must complete at least 4 days of activities with us. Please get in touch to discuss options if there are 1 or more days you might miss – we always try to be as flexible as we can. NB – Please ignore the date when booking – I have to set a date for the event on the website so if you are booking a July/August block and it shows up as April please don’t worry! We do know which date you are really booking for.  If you would like to do 2 days in April and 2 days in August then please book a 4 day block and just message us to say which dates you are attending. Likewise, if you want to book a 2 day block in July please choose the ‘2 day April block’ option and then message us to let us know!
