Home Education group ~ Jan/Feb

This is our Wednesday afternoon Home Education group which runs every week during term-time (8th January to 12th February).

Pay-as-you-go spaces are available for £9 per child, additional children are half price. You can also book a block of sessions for £7.50 per session.

The group runs from 12:30 to 2:15 and features a different theme every week with a range of activities and equipment to explore. Forest school is designed to be child-led so all the activities are optional and there are always lots of ‘free-play’ areas to explore such as the mud kitchen and the digging area.

Snack is provided (fruit & cake with water or squash for the children and teas or coffees and cake for the grown ups).

The sessions will run on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th January and the 5th and 12th February. We usually have a camp fire in the final week of term. There will be a different theme with related craft activities each week but forest school is child led and we always try to build on the children’s interests and adapt activities to fit the group.

Places are limited to 18 adults. Additional children are half price – discount for siblings or childminders. You are also welcome to bring cash on the day but please let us know in advance so we can make sure we have enough cake and that we don’t exceed our maximum number of adults on site. Thank you.
