‘Forge in the Forest’ is back with another beginners’ black-smithing course.

This is a relaxed, informal workshop for up to 5 people to have a go at black-smithing in our outdoor forge. No experience is necessary and all tools, materials and safety equipment are provided. The course is led by Peter Roworth, who has been leading smithing sessions with our Men’s group over the past year.

The forging workshops will run every Saturday morning from 10am to 12 noon on the 7th, 14th and 21st January

You can book onto a one-off session for £48. We will be creating simple beginner black-smithing projects such as a coat hook, poker, fork or bottle opener. If you already have some experience Peter will discuss with you would you would like to make.

We will stop for a break about half way through to have a brew and a slice of cake.

NB – if you do book a one-off session please message us to let us know which date you will be attending.
