Dry stone walling workshop

This is a dry stone walling workshop aimed at adults who would like to learn this skill and gain some practical experience of walling. Taught by Peter Rowarth, a local landscape gardener with many years experience, the course will start with a description of the basic principles before getting stuck in to the walling.

There will be two practice walls to hone your skills on before attempting to repair an actual wall gap as this provides a real insight into the process.

Refreshments (a slice of cake and a brew) and all materials & equipment provided, although you may wish to bring a good pair of gardening gloves. £35pp. Only 8 places available.
