This is a dry stone walling workshop aimed at adults who would like to learn this skill and gain some practical experience of walling. Taught by Peter Rowarth, a local landscape gardener with many years experience, the course will start with a description of the basic principles before getting stuck in to the walling. As part of the workshop you will be taking a part of a broken wall down and rebuilding it as this gives you a great insight into the process. Refreshments and all materials & equipment provided, although you may wish to bring a good pair of gardening gloves. Hot soup and bacon butties will be available. £35pp. Only 8 places available.
