Wood turning in the woods – 10th Oct 2026

This is a relaxed, informal workshop for up to 6 people to improve their wood-turning skills in our outdoor workshop. This course is for beginners and improvers. All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided. The course is led by Peter Roworth, who has been leading wood-turning sessions over the past few year.

This wood-turning workshop will run from 10am to 12 noon on the 10th October.

If you have some experience you may be working on more advanced wood-turning projects. Peter will discuss with you what you would like to make or work on.

We will stop for a break about half way through to have a brew and a slice of cake. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will provide alternatives.

We have a composting toilet on site should you need it. Please also come dressed for the outdoors in suitable outdoor footwear (walking boots would be great).
