PM Forest Friday Toddler Group June-July

This is our Friday afternoon outdoor toddler group which runs every week during term-time. This block is a 7 week block that runs from Friday 5th June until Friday 17th July. There are 4 weeks left of the block, a few pay-as-you-go spaces may also be available each week.

This toddler group runs from 12:30 to 2pm and features a different theme every week with a range of activities and equipment to explore. We begin with a gather around the fire circle for a welcome and hazards talk, and explain some of the enhancements on offer each week. Some weeks will involve a story, poetry, music or drama! Each week will have a different theme and may involve crafts, some tool work, cooking and getting us all moving! We look forward to exploring butterflies, pond life and much more!

Forest school is designed to be child-led so all the activities are optional and there are always lots of ‘free-play’ areas to explore such as the mud kitchen, music area, boat, sand pit and the digging area.

Half way through the session children can enjoy fruit and a drink, followed by freshly made cake from the Brinscall baker. There are teas or coffees and cake for the grown ups too! Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can offer alternatives. Children often like to feed the chickens after snack too!

The sessions will run on the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th June, as well as the 3rd, 10th and 17th July.

Termly prices are £8.50 per session if you book the block. Additional children are half price.

Alternatively, if you book a pay as you go session, the cost is £10. If all spaces are filled with block bookings then unfortunately we may not be able to offer pay as you go places.

If you’d like to bring an additional adult along you can buy a ticket at http://wildwooddays.co.uk/event/extra-adult-place/ It’s £2.50. You are also welcome to bring cash on the day but please let us know in advance so we can make sure we have enough cake and that we don’t exceed our maximum number of adults on site.
