Singing Mamas in the Woods – June

Join Emily from Singing Mamas Central Lancashire for a joyful sing in nature within the Wildwood Days site. No singing experience is required; there’s no sheet music and no solos.

There is also a session on the 6th July.

We’ll sing a range of simple, uplifting songs and rounds learnt through call and response. This session is for all the family – children are welcome to play on the site or join in the singing. The singing will last roughly an hour and there’ll also be chance to explore the site and chat to other families with a hot drink and slice of cake.

There are plenty of sheltered areas where we can still sing if it rains. The site has a large wooden shelter and a parachute tarp around the fire circle. Parking and a composting toilet are also available.

Singing Mamas is a national non-profit set up by nurse Kate Valentine to improve wellbeing through group singing. Emily also runs weekday groups for women (babies and young children welcome) in Hoghton, Croston and Chorley.

Accompanying children are free. Tickets are £9 for one adult and £15 for a family (2 adults plus children).
