Woodwork session

This is an extra session aimed at people who would like to finish off their projects / stools from last term. You could also attend as a taster session to see what the upcoming courses would be like.  The woodwork course is for beginners and improvers and is for up to 5 people. All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided. The course is led by local craftsman Shaun Roberts, who is also running sessions at the Super Slow Way in Blackburn.

The workshop is aimed at adults but older teenagers (14 upwards) are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult (16 years old and above do not need to be accompanied).

The workshops are relaxed and informal, Shaun has a lot of experience and can adapt projects to suit you – from making a stool to crafting a dovetail jointed box. Many projects will take more than one session to complete so if this is your first session don’t expect to complete your creation.

We will stop for a break about half way through to have a brew and a slice of cake.
