SOLD OUT – Forge in the forest – AM

SOLD OUT – there are still a couple of spaces on the afternoon workshop.

Due to popular demand, ‘Forge in the Forest’ is back with a one-off beginners’ black-smithing session.

This is a relaxed, informal workshop for up to 5 people to have a go at black-smithing in our outdoor forge. No experience is necessary and all tools, materials and safety equipment are provided. The workshop is led by Peter Roworth, who has been leading smithing sessions with our Men’s group over the past 2 years.

The forging workshop will run from 10am to 12:30. There is also an afternoon workshop from 1:30 to 4pm.

Depending on your level of experience we will be creating simple beginner black-smithing projects such as a coat hook or poker. If you already have some experience Peter will discuss with you would you would like to make.

We will stop for a break about half way through each session to have a brew and a slice of cake.
