Queen’s Jubilee Woodland Festival – 2:30

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we are holding a woodland festival supported by Withnell Parish council.

There will be a whole range of drop-in activities to try on site, suitable for all ages: toast a marshmallow over the campfire, create some woodland bunting, saw a log disc, try some environmental art and more. Refreshments will be provided (hot drinks and cake plus water or squash). You can book a 45 minute slot on site for your family to enjoy these activities.

Tickets are just £2pp as Withnell Parish council are funding the activities but please only book tickets if you live in the parish! This can be returned to you on the day by request or you can chose to donate your deposit to support future community events provided by Wildwood Days.

This event coincides with the grand opening of the Platinum Jubilee Footpath – a circular route going from Brinscall to Abbey Village – with way markers designed by local school children. Trail guides will be available on the day and there will be a prize and certificate for every child that completes the trail.

Families can bring a picnic (or visit the cafe or fish & chip shop), enjoy the play park, walk the Platinum Jubilee Footpath and enjoy the woodland festival activities at Wildwood Days – it is up to you what order you do things in!
